The Ourika Valley is beautiful. It's well worth the trip, although some sections of the road are a bit challenging due to the mountainous terrain. Mohamed, our driver, was very punctual when we picked him up. Both on the way there and back, he answered all our questions. Once we arrived, he recommended a very unique and colorful place to eat. The return trip was fantastic. We highly recommend both the experience itself and booking this activity with Civitatis. Opinion translated. Show original.

The transport was very good, although the visits to the pottery and herb cooperatives were somewhat uncomfortable, as they pressure you to buy things and they're not interesting at all. The Ourika waterfalls aren't worth it either; I've seen better and more relaxing ones. I don't recommend it.

I didn't like the Berber house. It was a ruin and just a place to get money. And its demeanor changed when it didn't receive what it expected... The visit to the argan factory was also a disappointment; they sold me a 60ml bottle instead of a 100ml one... shameful. Everything else was very good. The area is very beautiful.

Merece la pena Translate this opinion into English.

We were very happy. They picked us up at the meeting point with perfect punctuality! They were there before the scheduled time! We met a lovely and very adventurous pair of sisters on our excursion. The excursion was great; it included a visit to the first waterfall. Climbing to the other two required an additional fee. We didn't go any further due to knee problems. But just getting to that point was a great hike. It's definitely worth it. Opinion translated. Show original.

Translate this opinion into English.

The tour and the driver were excellent. Upon arrival, he gave us directions and stored our 4-year-old son's stroller. The uphill and downhill rides were great; if we had to mention anything, it would be that it was very crowded. Eating in the valley and enjoying the atmosphere were very nice and highly recommended. Translate this opinion into English.

A very comfortable trip with our guide Mohammed, who spoke Spanish and picked us up on time in a new, air-conditioned van. He explained the itinerary and the stops we would be making. We first stopped to take photos at some really cool panoramic viewpoints. Then we stopped at a traditional Berber house and later at an argan oil cooperative. Finally, we arrived at the Ourika Valley where Mohammed connected us with Karim, our guide to the waterfalls, a really nice guy who explained everything to us. Opinion translated. Show original.

Translate this opinion into English.

Fabulous experience, the sunset and show were a 10/10. The only downside was the transportation; the air-conditioned minibus was a bit underpowered, and the trip there was a little tedious. I suppose it's an easily fixed problem... otherwise, it was a true pleasure to have enjoyed this experience. I recommend it 200%. Opinion translated. Show original.

Translate this opinion into English.

Our driver and guide was Mohamed, and he was very attentive throughout. We did the waterfall hike with children aged 6 and 10, but it's quite strenuous and requires almost some climbing. It's a 1-hour round trip just to the second waterfall (we shortened it for the children). Recommended, but only if the little ones are comfortable with it. Lunch by the river is 150 DAM per person. Translate this opinion into English.

It was very good, the car had air conditioning and a good driver. And the guides on the excursion were fantastic; I have asthma and they helped me every step of the way when the stairs got difficult. The place where you eat on the riverbank (aside from being an environmental abomination) is a welcome respite, with the coolness of the river flowing at your feet. Opinion translated. Show original.

Ismail's transportation was as expected; he was attentive and drove very well. He speaks Spanish. He had already arranged a guide for us to see the waterfalls, making it seem as if hiking with him was mandatory, and dropping us off half a kilometer before the trailhead to make it seem like the guide was pre-arranged.

Gracias!! Translate this opinion into English.

We went with Ibrahim as our driver; he spoke Spanish very well. There you have the option of hiring a guide (we didn't) and hiking up to the waterfalls. Afterwards, you have time to have tea or lunch by the river. There were four of us in the van, and we saw everything before 2 pm (the pick-up time). We asked Ibrahim if we could return earlier, and he didn't mind at all. Even on the way back to Marrakech, we left some sunglasses in the van, and I called him, and he came right back to get them for us. Thank you!! Opinion translated. Show original.

Translate this opinion into English.

A superb hike with a very engaging guide. The waterfall is beautiful and refreshing after a strenuous climb in the mountain heat. The tagine we had back by the river was the best I ate during my entire trip to Morocco. Good hiking shoes and a reasonable level of fitness are recommended. Opinion translated. Show original.

We paid for a guide who was never there, and then they made us pay for one to climb to the waterfall because, according to them, it was dangerous and we wouldn't find one. Once there, the path was clear and a guide wasn't necessary. Furthermore, they force you to stop whenever they want and eat where they decide. We couldn't choose because when we asked the guides we'd hired there, they gave us dirty looks.

Translate this opinion into English.

A magnificent excursion! Hassan, the wonderful driver, speaks good Spanish and is very friendly, in addition to being a very good driver. Upon arrival, we went up to the waterfalls with Houssein, who was also very good, although he hardly speaks any Spanish. However, he was always attentive and ready to help us on the way up and down. The path to the waterfalls is easy and short; no preparation is necessary. Although the tour is listed as a full-day excursion, it can be done in a morning, returning around lunchtime. Genial!!! Nuestro conductor maravilloso, Hasan, súper amable y puntual. Translate this opinion into English.

Awesome!!! Our driver was wonderful, Hasan, super friendly and punctual. It's really fun to do it with kids (7 and 9 years old). The climb to the waterfall is a must. It's surprising and manageable. It's advisable to hire a guide for the ascent because it's economical, knows the way, and explains things to you. Perhaps the "worst" part is that you have to eat at the tourist shack established by civitatis, when there are dozens of bars by the river further down that are empty and surely more economical and authentic. Translate this opinion into English.

The excursion to the Ourika Valley was a lovely experience. The driver took us through sloping paths by car, where he found a clearing for us to take photos. Upon arriving at the valley, you can choose whether to stay near the river for a meal or go on your own towards the Ourika waterfalls. Crossing to the other side of the river from the parking lot, the waterfalls are reached by walking for 20/30 minutes; alternatively, you can pay for a local guide. Opinion translated.

The driver and guide were lovely, very friendly! The waterfalls were beautiful, and the guide took us through a less crowded area, making sure we didn't fall, that we didn't drink enough water, and that we were on the right path. The only thing we didn't like about the excursion was that they take you to the cooperatives, and you feel a bit pressured to buy things when they're more expensive than in Marrakech itself. Honestly, one cooperative is fine, but three are too many. We would have preferred to go directly to the waterfalls. Opinion translated. Show original.

The valley and the trek to the waterfall were beautiful. So the excursion was very good. A little time in nature to escape Marrakech was great. One suggestion is that our driver (Ali) could be more careful when driving and overtaking other cars, and not look out the side window so much when there were other people or situations on the road.
