Tour Details
At the scheduled time, we'll meet in front of Palazzo Dalla Rosa Prati to begin this food tour of Parma. We'll learn about the history, art, and flavors of the city as we stroll through its narrow streets.
The tour will begin with a first stop that is perfect for those with a sweet tooth, where we'll offer you coffee or water along with a traditional sweet treat in a refined pastry shop. After this introduction, we'll continue to savory tastings.
We'll sample products with Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) status and typical regional ingredients. We'll try different varieties of Parmigiano Reggiano cheese with varying levels of aging.
You'll also be treated to a selection of cured meats and cold cuts, including the world-famous ham, Prosciutto di Parma. These products will be accompanied by torta fritta, a fried bread dough that pairs perfectly with cold meats.
To drink, we'll toast with two glasses of wine along with the savory tastings, including a white and a red.
2 hours later, we'll conclude this food tour of Parma with happy, satisfied stomachs.
