Discover the attractions of one of the most beautiful villages in Spain with this trip to Morella from Peniscola.

Day Trip Details

At the designated time, we'll meet up at the Peniscola Tourist Office and board a minibus to head to Morella. This jewel of the Levantine region is considered one of the most beautiful villages in Spain.

We'll begin to explore the town by visiting the gate of San Miguel and heading into the historic centre of Morella. The oldest part of the town is noted for its many stately homes, ancient buildings, and picturesque cobbled streets.

As one of the most recognized products of Morella is honey, we'll visit an artisanal honey shop to learn all about the production process.

Then, we'll go into the Basilica of Morella to appreciate its Valencian Gothic architecture of the 13th and 14th centuries.

The last item on our trip will be the Morella Castle. As we observe the castle from the outside, we'll tell you all about the history behind it. You'll then have 1 hour of free time to explore the castle yourself or have some lunch in a local restaurant.

Finally, we'll return to the meeting point in Peniscola by minibus, where the arrival is scheduled for 9.5 hours after the start.
