Fall in love with Europe's most beautiful natural springs. Plitvice Lakes is home to spectacular waterfalls, lush forests, and breathtaking azure pools!
Day Trip to the Plitvice Lakes
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at the Meteorological Station in Zrinjevac Park and from this point in Zagreb, we'll depart for the beautiful Plitvice Lakes National Park. One of Croatia's great natural gems awaits us!
Along the route, we'll make a stop in Rastoke, a picturesque settlement that is known for its quaint water mills. Its name roughly translates as "the branching of rivers," and it's located where the Slunjčica River splits and forms the Korana River. You'll have free time here to stretch your legs and wander around the pretty village, taking photos of the historic buildings.
We'll then hop back on the bus and soon arrive at the majestic Plitvice Lakes. There, we'll go on a 3 to 4-hour tour to check out the 16 lakes in the area. The imposing mountains that frame these landscapes will captivate you forever! You're sure to also be amazed by the incredible change in color of the incredible lakes, which take on stunning hues of blue and green as the day progresses.
During the tour, we'll also do a little hiking along the wooden walkways in the Plitvice Lakes National Park, immersing us completely in the fabulous lush forest. After the tour of the lakes, you'll have about an hour free for lunch.
Lastly, we'll return to the Croatian capital, arriving at the meeting point in Zagreb 9 hours after pickup.
